Thanks for visiting! Our next event is an invite-only gathering to celebrate the vernal equinox and full moon on the weekend of March 22-23, 2008. We will be opening our huge, comfy, completely off-grid yurt to share with our friends and loved ones.

For directions call Kristopher @ 518-817-3496. They won’t be posted online.

Everyone should plan on sleeping on the cushy carpeted-floor of the yurt unless you like camping in whatever weather we might have on that weekend. In that case, please feel free to bring a tent and camp on our lovely land.

Things to bring:

Sleeping bag, pillow, & air mattress or pad to sleep on

2 gallons of water

Firewood (very important!)

Food (& wine / beer) for yourself and to share

Special treats to share

Slippers & long underwear

Drums, didjes, and all other variety of musical instruments

Fire-spinning gear & fuel

Flashlight / headlamp

Candles for the yurt

A tent if you’d like to camp outside (be prepared for the weather (check weather.com for zip code 12871)

Towel, water shoes/flip flops/chocs (& optional bathing suit) if you’d like to use the outdoor wood-fired hot tub

Folding camp chair to use by the fire & mud shoes in case it’s muddy

You can come for the entire weekend or any part of it that you can manage. We’ll start gathering and preparing the site on Friday, and we’ll have our first dinner and hot tub and small fire-circle on Friday night. Saturday we’ll hang out and possibly have a small work-building party for anyone interested in helping us put in our small pond/water cistern. Saturday night we’ll have the main celebration dinner and fire-circle, and of-course the hot tub. Come dressed and equipped to take care of yourself at an off-grid location. Plan to bring everything you need to live off-grid for the weekend, and bring a little extra to take care of your friends. Dress for the weather, as you’ll probably want to spend some time outside on our beautiful land.

This is an invite-only event, so if you want to bring a friend or two, you must contact us to confirm that there is space before inviting them.

If you have any ideas for something you’d like to do while at the event (like a workshop, ceremony, or such) please contact us to talk about it.

Ashe, Namaste, and Grace to you all.

-K and L.
